Welcome, here at Ravenscleugh we offer a safe and secure, bespoke retirement facility where horses live together in small groups much like they would in the wild. This provides comfort and companionship for them.
On the edge of The Northumberland National Park, we offer year-round facilities in beautiful peaceful surroundings.
We treat your horse as if they were our own.
We know that horses and ponies are healthiest when they live out and have freedom and space to graze.
Facilities
Our farm has perfect grazing options for those with a tendency to become overweight in the summer and for those that need controlled grazing.
Our new winter facilities are specifically designed for looking after older retired horses and ponies when they cannot be outside due to weather and ground conditions.
We have designed our new barn with extra large pens to house groups of 2-3 horses in friendship mobs, ensuring that they can access their feed without the worry of bullying. These facilities will ensure that your horse is kept in the best condition during the times we cannot accommodate them outside.
